NEW YEAR 2026: MACKONDO GREETS HAMA BACHAMA, CONSTITUENTS WITH PLEDGE OF MORE DEMOCRATIC DIVIDENDS

As the 2026 New Year begins, the Member representing Numan Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Pwamakaino Mackondo, has extended heartfelt felicitations and prayers for a bountiful year to his constituents, assuring them of increased dividends of democracy.

The lawmaker conveyed his goodwill in a New Year message addressed to the Paramount Ruler of the Bachama Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Homun Daniel Shagah Ismail, OON, (Kpawo Nomwe Gilongo Diya)and the entire people of his constituency, congratulating them on the dawn of a new year.
Mackondo extended his felicitations to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, the Speaker and members of the State Assembly, government functionaries, Emirs and Chiefs across the state, political stakeholders, religious leaders, and all citizens of Adamawa State.
In his message, the legislator emphasized the critical need for a peaceful and formidable society.
He stated that peace, being priceless, should be accorded the highest priority by all.
He expressed profound gratitude to his constituents in Numan for their massive solidarity and support throughout 2025, assuring them that “they will smile more in 2026.”
Mackondo highlighted Numan’s historical significance, describing it as “the hub of civilization in Adamawa State.”
He urged the good people of the area to continually demonstrate peaceful coexistence for others to emulate.
The lawmaker also thanked religious leaders and the entire populace of Numan for their sustained prayers and urged them to extend the same spiritual vigilance into 2026—a year he described as strategic for political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The message underscores the representative’s commitment to fostering unity, peace, and development in Numan Constituency in the coming year.
