New Intake: FedPoly Bali School Of Business and Mgt Tech, Organizes In-House Orientation For Students

The School of Business and Management Technology of the Federal Polytechnic Bali, in Taraba State has organized an in-house orientation programme for its students.

The programme, which was designed to acquaint students with the rules and regulations of the institution, took place on Monday 14th April, 2024, at the institution’s Executive Lecture Theatre II,
The Dean of the School, Dr. Sani Abdullahi, represented by the HOD OTM, Dr. Mrs. Florence Nnaji, welcomed and congratulated the Students for securing admission to the school.

She implored them to adhere strictly to the school’s rules and regulations, avoid all forms of examination malpractice, wishing them fruitful academic pursuits.
The Head of Department of Banking and Finance, Mr. Samuel S. Dame, presented a paper on examination preparations, eligibility for sitting for exams, and codes of conduct for students sitting for exams.
He emphasized the importance of students to understand the rules and regulations governing examinations in the school.

In his presentation, the Head of Department of General Studies, Dr. Umar S. Bashir, explained the importance of results computation, highlighting its role in monitoring students’ academic progress, setting realistic goals, and identifying career choices.
He also explained the polytechnic’s grading system, demonstrating practically how to calculate students’ GPA and CGPA.

In his remarks, the Coordinator, Mass Communication Department, and Chairman, Organizing Committee, Mr. Kabiru M. Hassan, advised students to be hardworking, concentrate on their studies, and assimilate lectures.
He urged them to maintain good conduct and strive to graduate with desirable results, enabling them to become useful members of society.

The orientation programme provided students with valuable insights into the school’s rules and regulations, examination procedures, and academic expectations.
