New Bauchi Commissioner of Youths and Sports Assumes office

The new Commissioner of Youths and Sports Department in Bauchi State, Hon Adamu Babayo Gabarin who is one of the 8 Commissioners recently sworn in by Governor Bala Mohammed, has assumed office.
The Commissioner who was accompanied to his new office on Tuesday, at the Abubakar Umar State Secretariat Complex by Hon. Samaila Ya’u Sade Chairman of Darazo Local Government Council and his entourage, Alh. Salisu Garba, the state PDP Administrative Officer and other Staff, Chairman Bauchi State Sports Council, Chairman Wikki Tourists FC, Family friends and other Associates, expressed gratitude with the solidarity and promised to deliver on his mandate.
The Commissioner thanked Governor Bala Mohammed for finding him worthy to be a member of the state Executive Council, saying he would do everything humanly possible to justify the confidence repose in him to enhance governance in the state.
Adamu Gabarin was led into the office by the acting Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Alhaji Nasiru Usman, where he solicited support of all and Sundry in the Ministry to enable him succeed as expected of him. Saying ” I am here to work with you in the interest of Bauchi, therefore do not hesitate to put me through, my success is your success, we must work together hand in hand to achieve the desired developments in Youths and Sports.
He also called on the Ministry:s Staff to be punctual, responsible, and show total commitment and dedication to their assigned responsibilities with loyalty to the government, as he assured them of an open door policy where contributions are needed to restore the image of Bauchi State in Sports.
Hon. Adamu assured of involving all stakeholders in Youth and sports development in the state to assist him in achieving his mandate as contained in My Bauchi Agenda of Governor Bala Mohammed.
“I have started identifying the stakeholders, by the grace of God in the next few days, i will meet them one after the other to put me through in the interest of sports department in Bauchà State to regain our admirable name as Mecca of Sports in Nigeria, where athletes all over Africa would be proud to visit”.
” I want to assure you that my Governor, Bala Mohammed the workaholic and Popularly known as Mr Protect is ever ready to support me in any initiative that will encourage youth development and their purposeful future”.
Both Ya’u Sade and Salisu Garba Congratulated the Ministry’s Staff for having the person of Adamu Babayo as their Commissioner.
They expressed confidence that Babayo Gabarin will turn round the fortunes of Youths and Sports Development in the state to the expectation of Governor Bala Mohammed.
