NAF@61: Air Component Boost Civil-Military Relations With Host Communities

The Nigerian Air Force has advised students in the host communities to shun any negative behaviour that might hamper their future ambitions.
This advise was given by the Air Component of the Joint Task Force Operation Hadin Kai to mark its Sixty-first Anniversary with the theme: The Nigerian Air Force is optimising civil-military relations in a joint operational environment for enhanced Air Operations,,” held in Maiduguri.
As part of activities to mark the 61st Anniversary of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Component Operation Hadin Kai engaged it’s host communities with outreaches and career talk.
This initiative is aimed at winning the hearts and minds of the society and to inspire young generations to serve the country through the Nigerian Air Force.
Some of schools who benefited from this kind gesture include Government Secondary School, Ngomari, Government Day Technical Secondary School Njimtilo, UNIMAID Secondary School, and Pompomari Secondary School in Maiduguri
During the event, students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions and seeking advice on how to pursue their career goals.
The career talk was a resounding success with students expressing appreciation for the valuable information and guidance received.
The CMR activities conducted from 14 – 15 May 25 is part of the NAF’s broader initiative to engage the host communities, promote national cohesion and inspire the next generation of airmen and airwomen.
The 61st anniversary celebrations of the NAF provided an opportunity for the Force to reflect on its achievements and contributions to national security.
The NAF has played a crucial role in defending the nation against external threats, as well as providing humanitarian assistance and support to civil authorities.
The students were impressed with the series of lectures and mentoring given to them by personnel.
As the NAF continues to evolve and adapt to emerging security challenges, its dedication to community engagement and cooperation remains unwavering.
