In the Italian Serie A, Juventus host Torino as they seek to rebuild after sacking Igor Tudor and later hiring the former Italian head coach Luciano Spalletti, while Ademola Lookman at Atalanta welcomes Sassuolo, with Parma battling AC Milan.
Inter Milan will have a stern test as they prepare to welcome Lazio, while the defending Champion Napoli will be on the road to confront Bologna, AS Roma will host Udinese, and Genoa will entertain Fiorentina, with Cesc Fabregas Como welcoming Cagliari.
In the German Bundesliga, the league leader Bayern Munich would have to contain Union Berlin as they seek the three points and to maintain their one hundred per cent record, while Hamburg host Borussia Dortmund, with Bayer Leverkusen taking on Heidenheim, and Hoffenheim welcoming RB Leipzig.
Borussia Monchengladbach welcome Koln, while SC Freiburg engage FC St Pauli, with Stuttgart hosting FC Augsburg, as Eintracht Frankfurt battle Mainz 05.
