Manchester City Beats Crystal Palace 3-0 To Put More Pressure On Arsenal

Manchester City eased to a comfortable 3-0 against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park to sit two points behind Arsenal and put more pressure on the league leader Arsenal, which needs to find a way to deal with the pressure.
Manchester City and Pep Guardiola entered the encounter knowing that anything short of three points against Crystal Palace would be a major setback in their pursuit of the league leader, Arsenal.
The boys delivered to the delight of the head coach and the supporters.
The league leader, Arsenal, had an earlier tough time as they laboured hard to overcome stubborn Wolves at the Emirates Stadium in London, extending their lead to five points.
However, with Manchester City’s win against Crystal Palace, the lead has been cut back to two.
Chelsea continued their dominance over Everton at Stamford Bridge stadium with a comfortable 2-0 victory against the David Moyes boys, and the victory lifted the Enzo Maresca boys back to the top four, while Aston Villa continued their impressive runs with a 3-2 victory against West Ham United to boost their title credentials.
The defending Champion Liverpool FC finally put behind them their many troubles and rallied round to defeat Brighton and Hove Albion 2-0 at Anfield Stadium, a result which has eased pressure on the head coach Arne Slot who before now has been under severe pressure not only for the Mohammed Salah saga but because of poor results.
Burnley had not in their history been beaten by Fulham when playing at home but that all had changed as Fulham beat Burnley 3-2 while Thomas Frank and Tottenham Hotspurs were humbled 3-0 by Nothingham Forest as Sunderland pipped their fiercest and arch rival as well as next door neighbours Newcastle United in the Tyne derby with Brentford and Leeds United settling for a one all draw.
In the Spanish La Liga Real Madrid recorded a much-needed victory against Deportivo Alaves to ease pressure on Xabi Alonso who is under scrutiny and the searchlight of the team hierarchy while FC Barcelona continued to hold tight to the top of the league with a comfortable 2-0 win against Osasuna with Atletico Madrid beating Valencia 2-1.
Sevilla humbled Real Oviedo 4-0 while Celta Vigo defeated Athletic Bilbao 2-0, with Elche losing Mallorca 3-1, and the encounter between Levante and Villarreal was postponed.
In the Italian Serie A, Torino piped Cremonese 1-0, while the defending Champion Napoli failed 1-0 to Udinese, handing over the top spot to Inter Milan, which defeated Genoa 2-1, as AC Milan failed to beat Sassuolo, which held them to a two-all draw.
Parma lost 1-0 to Lazio, while Atalanta defeated Cagliari 2-1, as Fiorentina were yet again beaten 2-1 by Hellas Verona, and Bologna were beaten 1-0 by Juventus.
In the German Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund were held to a 1- 1 draw by SC Freiburg, while Bayer Leverkusen defeated Cologne 2-0, as Borussia Mönchengladbach failed 3-1 to Wolfsburg.
Eintracht Frankfurt defeated FC Augsburg 1-0, while Bayern Munich managed a two-all draw with Mainz 05, as Stuttgart defeated Werder Bremen 4-0, with Hoffenheim beating Hamburger 4-1.
FC St Pauli piped Heidenheim 2-1 while Union Berlin defeated RB Leipzig 3-1
