Mambilla Beverages Company Poised For Expansion

The Mambilla Beverages Production Company Limited, producers of Highland and Green Tea is poised for expansion and improvement in the quality of its products.


This followed a successful meeting between the factory’s management, representatives from Kipchimchim Group of Company, Kenya and Taraba State Government officials.

Speaking after the meeting, Chief Barr. Gebon Timothy Kataps, Secretary to the Government of Taraba State who is also the Chairman of the Governing Board of the Company, expressed gratitude to the Kipchimchim Group for their efforts and professional advice.


He assured the Kipchimchim representatives of the state government’s commitment to ensure that the Mambilla Beverages Production Company operates optimally with increased production capacity.

Responding to the warm reception, Mr. Brain Soi, Team Leader of the Kipchimchim Group, commended the Taraba state government for its hospitality.


He reiterated that their visit aligns with the earlier agreements reached with the government and expressed satisfaction with the progress made.

Mr. Soi highlighted the natural blessings of the state and the company’s eagerness to collaborate and make Mambilla Tea stand out.

The Access Bank regional Head of Commercial Banking, North East, Mr. Alexius Ayabam, expressed readiness to partner with the state government to ensure professional output and delivery of highland tea to the world market.

The Managing Director of Mambilla Beverages Production Company Limited, Dr. Abubakar Kara, appreciated the state government’s support and looked forward to a successful partnership with Kipchimchim Group.


The delegation which includes, Rt. Hon. Abel Peter Diah, representing Mbamnga,; Hon. Nelson Cyprian Len, member representing Nguroje Constituency; and Hon. Happy Shonruba , representing Ardo-Kola among other top government functionaries were taken round the plantations to the production stage of the factory.
