Maiduguri Floods unites all political parties- PDP Chieftain

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Kudla Milinda Haske has described the empathy shown by Nigerians through rallying round and support to the Maiduguri flood victims without minding political parties as a massive love.
Speaking during a sympathy visit to Government House with journalists in Maiduguri, Milinda made a significant donation of ₦19.5 million to support the victims of flood disasters.
He underscored the importance of the unity and togetherness, noting that he was saddened by the magnitude of destruction caused by flood in Maiduguri and its environs.
“The carnage, the lost of lives, lost of properties and unimaginable displacements is heart wrenching.
“I donated my widows might, a sum of #19.5 million to support the flood victims, Borno belong to all of us and we believe that it will be back stronger and better,”.
He saluted the Nigerian, corporate entities, individuals for their unwavering support to the Borno State Government and the people.
“The generous contributions across political parties is unparalleled. I will say that this flood disasters has brought all political parties together and this is good because this show we take humanity before our interest.
“The things is much more devastated and the fact that across several communities the flood have wreck havoc, even people are calling me from Southern Borno that their rice was at point of harvest and homes was submerged. The demonstration of unity amidst diversity is truly commendable.”he said.
