Lobi Stars FC Seeks Support Of Sports Journalists, Appreciate Bauchi Fans

As Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi Storms Bauchi on Thursday in preparation for its Week 24 match on Saturday against Katsina United Football Club of Katsina in continuation of the on going 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), the Chairman of Lobi Stars FC, Dr. Philip Nongu, is seeking for the support of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN, Bauchí State Chapter.

Dr. Nongu who arrived Bauchi on Friday said the need to partner with Sports journalists became necessary in view of the role they play in ensuring success and sports development in the country considering the fact that sports is a Media event.
” I use this opportunity to urge you sports Writers in Bauchi to support my team Lobi Stars Football Club Makurdi playing home in Bauchi, the Mecca of sports in Nigeria, blessed with Seasoned Sports administrators of international repute the likes of Sani Ahmed Toro and Alhaji Aminu Maigari to ensure success of all our matches in Bauchi” .
He appreciated the large publicity offered the club by the Media during their last home match against Eyimba Fc of Aba in Bauchi which attracted massive support to Lobi Stars.
Saying, ” this is a testament that the good sports Loving People of Bauchí are promising and never forget history”. Dr. Nongu noted.
The Chairman also said, “I want to expressed my appreciation and thanks to the Management and teeming supporters of Wikki Tourists FC, Zabgai international FC, Bauchi Wunti FC and all other Football teams that massively supported Lobi during last home match”.
Adding that, “I therefore urge them to continue in that spirit in the interest of togetherness for success of Lobi Stars in the Saturday Match against Katsina United and all subsequent home matches and promised that the team will not disappointment fans as the technical department of the team will assemble a very good and disciplined team and bench”. He assured.
Dr. Nongu, further use this opportunity to commend the Bauchi State Football Association for complying strictly to the rules of the game.
