Liverpool FC extends lead to five points in the English Barclay Premier League

Liverpool FC continue to maintain their one hundred percent record, winning five out of the five matches they have so far played, and is gradually pulling away from the other teams coming behind.
Liverpool FC started the weekend encounter at home against their fierce rival and Merseyside neighbours, Everton, and immediately scored two quick goals in the first half of the game, but Everton pulled one back in the second half; Liverpool held on to win the match 2-1.
The star match of the week live up to its billing as Manchester United put behind them all the negative noise due largely to the technical formation deployed by the team Manager Ruben Amorim which many believe is not working yet he is adamant about and it worked for him against the blues whose case was not help following an early red card issue to Chelsea goalkeeper Sanchez when he brought Bryan Mbeumo down being the last man and the rules has to be applied which is the sending off.
Manchester United seized the opportunity of their opponent being a man down to up their game and scored two quick goals through Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro, who was later shown the marching orders after committing two bookable offences.
The sending off of Casemiro breathed life into Chelsea, who piled up pressure and finally reduced the deficit through Chalobah, but could not level up as Manchester United defended their one-goal lead to the end to pick up their second win of the season and to relieve pressure on the Manager who is at the centre of the storm.
Arsenal’s quest to keep up the pace with Liverpool FC suffered a setback as they were held by Manchester City to a one-all draw at the Emirates Stadium in London.
Manchester City started the match brightly and got their reward when Tijjani Reijnders put Erling Haaland through, and the Manchester City striker raced through to put the ball into the net at the far end of the right-hand side of David Raya in goal for Arsenal.
Arsenal came into the second half looking more dangerous with the introduction of Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze but Manchester City stood their ground, however, Gabriel Martinelli restored parity after replacing Trossard and with the one-all draw.
Arsenal is on ten points same as Tottenham Hotspurs and AFC Bournemouth moves back into the second position behind the league leader Liverpool FC which is on 15 points.
Tottenham Hotspurs had earlier fought back to salvage a point at Brighton Albion and Hove after going down 2-0, while AFC Bournemouth were held by Newcastle United to a goalless draw, as Aston Villa’s winless record continues with yet another one-all draw against ten-man Sunderland.
Crystal Palace piled up more pressure on West Ham United manager Graham Potter with a 2-1 defeat, while Fulham had a smooth ride over Brentford with a comfortable 3-1 win, with Burnley and Nottingham Forest settling for a one-all draw.
In the Spanish La Liga, Real Madrid recorded yet another victory against Espanyol to maintain their one-hundred percent record, as FC Barcelona also responded with a comfortable 3-0 win against Getafe, with Ferran Torres scoring a brace, while Dani Olmo also registered his name on the score sheet with the third goal.
Sevilla picked up a 2-1 win against Deportivo Alaves, while Athletic Bilbao suffered a 2-0 defeat to Valencia, and Mallorca denied Atletico Madrid all three points with a one-all draw.
Lavante defeated Girona 4-0 while Villarreal beat Osasuna 2-1 to pocket all three points at stake.
In the Italian Serie A, Juventus played a one-all draw with Hellas Verona, while AS Roma defeated their arch rival Lazio 1-0, as AC Milan continued their impressive form with a comfortable 3-0 win against Udinese.
Inter Milan also picked up their first three points when they defeated Sassuolo at the San Siro stadium, as Cesc Fabregas and Como continue to impress with a 2-1 win against Fiorentina.
In the German Bundesliga, Bayern Munich marched on, demolishing their host Hoffenheim 4-1, even as Hamburger piped Heidenheim 2-1.
FC Augsburg suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Mainz 05 while RB Leipzig beat Cologne 3-1
