Liaise With Us in Citing Projects, Taraba Gov To NEDC

The Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas expressed his determination to work with relevant agencies of Government to improve the lives of the people of Taraba state.
The Governor stated this when he received the Managing Director of the North East Development Commission, Mohammed Goni Alkali at the Government House in Jalingo.
The Governor was represented by the State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Alkali.
The Governor who made a case on the issues of project citing, pleaded that whenever the commission wants to cite a project, it should liaise with the state Government for consultations on the needs and aspirations of the various communities.
He described the North East Development Commission as a major partner in the development of the state and called on the management of the Commission to look at the issue of the Namnai collapsed bridge with a view to finding out the best way out.
The Managing Director of the North East Development Commission, Muhammad Goni Alkali said they were in Taraba state to tour their projects spread across the state and thanked the state Government for the reception accorded them.
