Lamdo Gashaka Confers Jagaban Title on Taraba SGS

The Lamdo Gashaka, Dr Zubairu Hammangabdo Sambo has conferred the traditional title of the Jagaban on the Secretary to the Government of Taraba State, Chief Gebon Timothy Kataps.
He announced the appointment at his palace in Serti, the headquarters of Gashaka Local Government Area of Taraba State while receiving a delegation of the new Taraba State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Alhaji Abubakar Bawa who were on their way to Gembu in Sardauna Local Government Area of the state.

The traditional title, which symbolises leadership, wisdom and community service, was bestowed upon Barr Kataps in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the overall development of the state.
The Lamdo Gashaka, extolled the virtues of Barr Kataps, highlighting his commitment to public service, leadership qualities, and his unwavering dedication to the people of Taraba State.

Visibly moved by the recognition and honour done to him by the Gashaka Traditional Council, Barr Gebon Timothy Kataps, expressed his deepest gratitude to Lamdo Gashaka and the people of the Gashaka Chiefdom.
He pledged his desire to continue to work tirelessly for the betterment of Taraba State and its people.
