Kano Gov Presents 3 New Buses To Pillars FC, Urges Supporters To Shun Hooliganism, Be Law – Abiding

In his administration’s determination to facilitate movement of the state darling team, Kano Pillars FC in the ongoing 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season, Kano State Government under the leadership of Governor Kabiru Yusuf has presented three brand new buses to the Club.
The Media Director of Kano Pillars made this known in a press statement made available to sports journalists.
According to the statement, the gesture, made on the directive of Governor Abba Yusuf, comprises a 29-seater luxurious Marcopolo bus for players, a Hummer bus, and a Sharon.
Presenting the vehicles on behalf of the Governor, the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Ibrahim Farouk, said the donation reflected the administration’s commitment to youths empowerment and sports development.
The SSG urged sports-loving youths in the state to remain law-abiding and to shun acts of hooliganism that could tarnish the image of the state.
He also commended the state Commissioner of Youths and Sports Development, Mustapha Kwankwaso, for his dedication and commitment to youth and sports development in the state.
In his remarks the Commissioner of Youth and sports development, Hon. Mustapha Kwankwaso appreciated Governor Yusuf for the gesture, describing it as a milestone that would motivate the team and boost players’ morale.
He appealed to fans of “Sai Masu Gida” to continue supporting the club with discipline and sportsmanship.
The club’s General Manager, and former Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa, expressed appreciation to the governor for what he described as an inspiring gesture.
Ahmed Musa assured that the players would redouble their efforts to restore the club’s glory, adding that the donation marked the beginning of greater things to come for the team.
He used this opportunity to appealed to the state government to immortalise the club’s iconic captain, Rabiu Ali, for his exceptional contributions to Kano Pillars and Nigerian football.
