Jukun Youth Group Condemns Killing of a Man in Taraba, Demands Immediate Justice

The Jukun Youth Cultural and Development Association (JYCDA) has condemned what it described as the tragic and senseless killing of Mr. Nwubu Gani Pujen, in Wukari Local Government Area.
The incident is said to have occurred on the evening of Sunday, 10th August, 2025.
The Jukun Youth Group expressed its deep shock and concern in a Press Release signed by the President, Mr Audu Danjuma, a copy of which was obtained by Echo Express.
“According to credible reports, Mr. Nwubu was attacked and killed after he discovered extensive destruction of his farmland, caused by Fulani herdsmen.
“This cowardly and brutal act is not only an assault on the life of an innocent man but also a direct threat to the peace, security, and livelihood of the entire community. Farmlands are the lifeline of rural families, and any attack on them is an attack on our survival, economy, and heritage.
“The JYCDA strongly condemns this heinous crime and calls on all security agencies, and local vigilance groups to act swiftly in apprehending those responsible. Justice must be served without fear or favor, and the perpetrators must face the full weight of the law to deter future occurrences.

The Release stressed that the Jukun Youth Cultural and Development Association remains committed to promoting peace, unity, and justice, while defending the rights and safety of our people.
