Jinkam Ifraimu Shines Again, Clinches Silver at Professor Zulum National Badminton Championship

Two-time African Badminton Champion, Jinkam Bulus Ifraimu of Taraba State has added yet another accolade to his growing list of achievements by securing second place at the Professor Zulum National Badminton Championship held in Maiduguri, Borno State.
Following the intensity of the competition, Ifraimu expressed deep appreciation to the Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas for his unwavering support and creating an enabling environment for athletes in Taraba State to excel.
He emphasized that the governor’s dedication to sports development has played a significant role in his success.
Ifraimu also lauded the organizers of the championship for their professionalism and smooth execution of the event.
He particularly praised Professor Babagana Zulum, the Governor of Borno State, acknowledging his commitment to sports and youth empowerment in Nigeria.
“This competition was tough, but I gave my best. I’m grateful to my supporters and to Governor Agbu Kefas, whose leadership and encouragement have been instrumental in my career. Professor Zulum’s passion for sports is truly commendable, and I appreciate the opportunity to compete at such a high level,” Ifraimu stated.
Having represented Taraba State in numerous national and international competitions, Ifraimu has consistently delivered outstanding performances, winning medals and making his state proud.
His latest achievement further solidifies his reputation as one of Nigeria’s top badminton players.
With his sights set on future tournaments, Ifraimu remains committed to pushing boundaries and bringing more glory to Taraba and Nigeria at large.
