JALINGO LG CHAIRMAN PRESENTS 2025 BUDGET ESTIMATES

In a significant milestone towards the development of Jalingo Local Government Area, the Executive Chairman, Hon. (Dr.) Aminu Jauro Hassan, who also serves as the ALGON Chairman of Taraba State, has officially presented the 2025 budget estimate, titled “Budget of Sustainable Growth and Development”.
In his presentation, the Chairman highlighted that the budget reflects his administration’s dedication to addressing the critical needs of the local government, driving economic growth, and ensuring sustainable development across key sectors.
The total budget estimate for the fiscal year 2025 presented was Four Billion, Eight Hundred and Thirty-Six Million, Eight Hundred and Twenty-One Thousand, Four Hundred and Seventy-Six Naira, Ninety-Five Kobo (₦4,836,821,476.95).
Key focus areas of the 2025 budget includes: Infrastructure Development, Education, Agriculture, Healthcare, Women and Youth Empowerment.
The Chairman reaffirmed his Council’s resolve to ensure that every kobo allocated in the budget is utilized judiciously for the betterment of the local government area.
“This budget is not just a financial document but a roadmap for achieving the aspirations of our people. It is a call to action for all stakeholders to work together in unity for the progress of Jalingo Local Government,” he stated.
The presentation ceremony, held at the Council Chamber of the Local Government Secretariat, was well attended by stakeholders, including traditional leaders, representatives of civil society organizations, community leaders, and members of the council.
The stakeholders lauded the Chairman’s vision and pledged their support towards the implementation of the budget for the collective growth of the Council.
