Hunger Protest: Pastor urges Taraba citizens to boycott protest

The Resident Pastor, Government House Unity Chapel Jalingo, the Taraba State capital, Rev. Sheka Bambur has called on Tarabans to shun the upcoming hunger protest.

In a similar development, the former Governor of Taraba State Rev. Jolly nyame has added his voice , appealing to the citizens of the state to shun the upcoming nationwide protest.

 

He stated this on Monday while delivering a sermon to a congregation at the Chapel , adding that the facts still remains that there is hunger in the land, and people are passing through hard times.

 

Taking his text from the book of Exodus chapter 3 verses seven to nine “, the Pastor stressed that the Lord said

“I have surely seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taxmasters and oppressors; for I know their sorrows and sufferings and trials.

He encouraged the congregation that God will surely deliver Nigerians from all the hardships and make life more meaningful and easy.

 

The Pastor Patience admonished the congregation that God still answers prayers saying all we need to do is to pray for God’s intervention.

 

According to him, there are hoodlums out there who are ready to hijack the protest to vandalized and cause mayhem.

 

He explained that today Kenyan people are regretting the level of destruction that had been done to their facilities which was not part of what the organizers of the protest intended for their country.

 

He cited a trending video of late Prophet T.B Joshua where he prophesied of a protest that will result to revolution that even security personnel cannot contained it but called Nigerians to pray for peace and unity.
