HAMA BATTA @ 79: Ragoh Batta Hails Bwatiye Monarch

The Ragoh Batta, Chief Pwa’ashino David Calvin, has extended warm felicitations to the Paramount Ruler of the Batta Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Homun Alhamdu Goldstone Teneke, JP, MFR (Kpangashiye, Diyo Shifoto), on the occasion of his 79th birthday celebration, slated for Wednesday, 19th August 2025.

In a congratulatory message issued to newsmen in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, the Ragoh Batta lauded the first-class monarch, the 5th HAMA BATTA, describing him as an “epitome of peace and modern royalty”, whose reign has brought progress and harmony to the kingdom.
Chief David Calvin, while pledging his allegiance, expressed joy at witnessing the monarch’s 79th milestone in good health and vitality.
“Your Majesty is a pace-setter and a symbol of unity, not only in the Batta Kingdom but across Adamawa State. Your inclusive leadership, transcending tribal and religious divides, distinguishes you as an exceptional and revered monarch,” the Ragoh Batta stated.

He further described the HAMA BATTA as a compassionate leader and diplomat, cherished not only by his subjects but by people from all walks of life.
Since ascending the throne on February 8, 2010, HRM Homun Alhamdu Goldstone Teneke, JP, MFR, has been widely admired for his “humility, generosity, and unwavering commitment to justice”—qualities that continue to inspire exemplary leadership.
The Ragoh Batta prayed for the monarch’s longevity, wisdom, and sustained prosperity as he leads the Batta people with grace and distinction.
