Only Four out of the six suspects, the security personnel of the Kaduna State Vigilance Service appeared before the Magistrate court while the two prime suspects were absent in Court.

The Chief Magistrate, Justice Naheed Ibrahim Abdulhamid ordered that the 4 defendants, will be remanded in a correctional facility.

The four suspects who appeared in Court are Timothy Abba 56 years old, Joseph Ogoni 41 years old, Bulus Adamu 42 years old and Francis Adamu 48 years old who are all personnel of Kaduna state vigilance service (KADVIS), posted to the said school to provide security.

Recall, the six suspects appeared in previous court sitting, accused of criminal conspiring and negligence which cause the death of Ahmed Musa at Government Technical College Malali kaduna.

The suspects which includes two students, Wisdom Markus kefas, and Innocent Yakubu, together with the security personnel are still being remanded at a correctional centre for their alleged connection in the murder case.

After the court session, the biological mother, Mariya Abdullahi and the step mother of the deceased, Late Ahmed Musa, Lauratu Abdullahi, in an interview with newsmen accused the kaduna state government of trying to frustrate the family so that the case will no longer proceed.

” I think the best thing is to take legal action, by suing kaduna state government for negligence and neglecting us”.
” Today is the 6th times we are attending the court session, but the prime suspects which are the students are not appearing. They only appeared once, and the other 4 suspects which are the kaduna security personnel appeared 3 times.  Also the police which are the witnesses are not appearing too, so we will not just fold our arms to allow the murder case of our innocent son who was brutally murdered to continue with k-leg, that’s why as his biological mother I am proceeding to federal high court of justice to demand comprehensive compensation for the family, and an expedited, transparent, and decisive legal process” to ensure justice is served, and to avert any attempts at political interference or compromise” she added.

Recall, the father of the deceased, in a petition dated 24th February 2025 which was addressed to the executive governor of Kaduna state through the honorable commissioner of education, appealed for comprehensive investigation to uncover those behind his son death, and whoever is found to have a hand in the death of his son should be punish accordingly.

He also demanded from kaduna state government adequate compensation for negligence being the custodian of the deceased Ahmed Musa.
