Governor Kefas Meets LG Chairmen, Pledges Inclusive Development

In a strong commitment to grassroots development, Governor Agbu Kefas has assured that no part of Taraba State will be left behind under his administration’s drive for progress.
He made this declaration during a high-level meeting with Local Government Area (LGA) Chairmen at the Exco Chamber, TY Danjuma House, Jalingo.
Addressing the LGA Chairmen, Governor Kefas emphasized that the meeting was not just a routine engagement but a strategic session aimed at identifying and addressing the most pressing needs of the people at the grassroots.
He noted that good governance at the local level is essential for fostering meaningful development and bridging the gap between the government and the people.
“Every challenge confronting our people must be seen as an opportunity for growth and transformation. Our goal is to turn these challenges into stepping stones for sustainable development across all local government areas,” he stated.
The Governor disclosed that he has received the final copies of the Development Master Plan for Taraba State, a comprehensive blueprint designed to guide the state’s growth across key sectors.
He revealed that each local government area has its own tailored development plan, which will soon be distributed to all councils to ensure strategic implementation at the grassroots level.
“This master plan is a roadmap for the future of our state. Every local government will play a crucial role in executing its respective development plan, ensuring that no community is left behind,” he added.
Governor Kefas reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to fostering inclusive governance, strengthening local economies, and ensuring that development projects align with the needs of the people.
The meeting marks a pivotal moment in the Governor’s mission to transform Taraba State, setting a clear agenda for grassroots empowerment and infrastructural progress.
