Gov Mohammed Commends FCC, makes case for Bauchi FG Job Seekers

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchí State has appealed to Federal Character Commission not to marginalize the People of Bauchi State seeking appointments into the federal service.
The governor made this appeal at the Council Chamber of the Government House Bauchi on Wednesday when a delegation from the Federal Character Commission led by its executive Chairman Dr. Muhibbah Dan Kaka, paid him a courtesy visit.
Governor Mohammed emphasized the importance of equity and justice in federal appointments, stressing that Bauchi State should be adequately represented at the federal level.
He stressed the need for the Commission to uphold its mandate of promoting balanced representation among states and fostering inclusivity across federal agencies.
He noted that Bauchi, like other states, has qualified and capable individuals who can effectively serve the nation if given the required opportunity.
According to him, “fairness and equitable representation in federal appointments would not only enhance unity but also foster a sense of belonging among citizens from all regions”.
Earlier, the executive Chairman of the commission, Dr. Muhibbah Dan Kaka assured the governor that the commission remain focused on promoting an equitable distribution of positions across all states.
She confirmed that Bauchi’s interest like any other would be taken care off as the Commission carries out its responsibilities to ensure justice in line with its mandate.
