Gov Kefas Honoured by Ex-Army Pikin Association

The Ex-Army Pikin Association has honoured the Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas with a prestigious award in recognition of his outstanding leadership and commitment to the welfare of the people of Taraba State.

The award ceremony took place at the Patience Event Center in Jalingo, drawing dignitaries and stakeholders from across the state.

In his address, Governor Kefas, represented by the Chief of Staff, Government House Administration, Dr Jeji Williams, expressed deep gratitude for the recognition.

He paid heartfelt tribute to the bravery and resilience of the fallen heroes, acknowledging their invaluable sacrifices in keeping Nigeria united.

“The courage and doggedness of our fallen heroes will never be forgotten,” the governor said.

He urged the gathering to continue supporting the families of these heroes and to pray for their children.

Dr Agbu kefas commended the Ex-Army Pikin Association for its remarkable contributions to the state, emphasizing the critical role of the Nigerian Army in maintaining the nation’s unity.

He encouraged the Association to remain united and continue striving for prosperity.

Other notable award recipients included the Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt Hon John Kizito Bonanza, and the Secretary to the Government of the State, Chief Gebon Timothy Kataps.

The event highlighted the Association’s commitment to preserving the legacy of the fallen heroes and fostering unity within Taraba State.
