Gov Fintiri Drills Borehole At NUJ Press Center, Yola

The Adamawa State Government has commenced the drilling of a standard solar borehole for the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Adamawa State Council at the Press Center near the Mahmud Ribadu Square in Yola.
The project which is being executed by the Sustainable development goals (SDGs) under Alhaji Muhammad Alfa Raji would supply water to the Secretariat and environs.
The water tank has the capacity to supply 20, 000 cubic of water daily.
The Chairman of the Adamawa State Council of the NUJ, Comrade Ishaka Donald Dedan while speaking on the project, thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for considering the Secretariat of the NUJ in his water scheme, saying it is the first in history of any civilian administration in the state.
Comrade Dedan further expressed appreciation to NUJ partners for making the environment an enterprising hub in Dougire axis of the state Capital.
The State Secretary of NUJ, Comrade Fidelis Jockthan said about 400 Practicing Journalists in Adamawa state would converge on the NUJ premises very soon for the grand commissioning of the water Project by the Governor of Adamawa state, Rt.Hon.Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
