Gov. Bala Mohammed is reliable, promising, fulfilling, workaholic, accountable — Says Toro LGA Chairman

The Chairman of Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi South, Pharm. Ibrahim Abubakar Dembo, has described Governor Bala Mohammed as reliable, promising, fulfilling, workaholic and accountable leader.
Pharm. Ibrahim Dembo, stated this in Toro when he received Bauchi State Commissioner of Information and Communication Usman Shehu Usman, along side Special Adviser to the State Governor on Media and publicity Comrade Mukthar Mohammed Gidado, Senior special Assistant to the Governor on Communication, Elder Abdulwahab Mohammed, Media executives and journalists in his office at the weekend on inspection tour of state government projects in the local government under the watchful eyes of Governor Bala Mohammed.
He commended Governor Bala Mohammed for fulfilling his campaign promises to the people of Toro Local Government Area which he started immediately after taking mantle of leadership in the state in 2019.
The Chairman explained that since assumption of office in 2019 to date, Governor Bala Mohammed has awarded 35 life touching projects across the 17 wards that constitute the local government area. “Out of the 35 projects 21 were completed while 14 are ongoing and most at finishing level”, he said.
Pharm.Ibrahim Dembo, said some of completed projects are Construction of Mararraban Ganye/Jajuwal/Gwalfada to Bakin Kogi Road, Magama to Rahama Rehabilitation, Road construction from Rishi to Tulu, Construction of District Heads of Toro and Jama’a, Renovation of General Hospital Toro and Renovation of all main PHC in the LGA.
Others are construction of 1 block of 2 Classroom each at Salarma and Tilden Fulani, construction of Primary School at Lubaiya and Renovation of Local Government Secretariat Toro among others.
Pharm. Dembo informed that some of the ongoing State government projects in Toro LGA includes construction of road from Rimin Zayam to Dass, Construction of Rimin Zayam and Nabordo townships roads, Reconstruction of Sarkin Yakin Bauchi, District of Lame Palace, Construction of General Hospital Gumau, Electrifications of Zigau Dangara, Zaigau Manga, Zigau Tulu and Zigau Funde among others.
While appreciating Governor Bala Mohammed for his giant stride achievements in Toro LGA, he said ” the Governor has fulfilled his promises 100 percent to people of Toro. And we are greatful, we have nothing to pay him back for what he has done to us. Our prayers to him is that may God guide him to accomplish his responsibilities to the people of Bauchi State and uplift him to another higher responsibility after 2027 election”. Pharm.Dembo prayed.
While introducing members of his entourage to the Council Chairman and his council Members, the State Commissioner of Information Usman Shehu Usman, said the purpose of this tour is to inspect the progress of all State Government projects in Toro LGA with a view to informing the public of the state’s prudent use of their resources by Bauchi State Government under the able leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed.
Usman Shehu Usman with his entourage in company of the Local Government Chairman and his council Members paid homage to Palace of Adamu Umar Toro, Katukan Bauchi, District Head of Toro and that of Alhaji Bala Sulaiman Adamu Jumba Dangaladiman Bauchi, District Head Jama’a.
Both District Heads expressed appreciation with the visit and Commended Governor Bala Mohammed for the total renovation of their respective Palace and so much to maintain developmental infrastructure and empowerment programmes that better the lives of their objects and the state as a whole.
