Gombe Auto Crash: Former NTA GM Commiserates With NTA, NUJ, Families

A former General Manager of the Nigeria Television Authority, NTA Bauchi, Mallam Suleiman Ibrahim has extended his condolences to the NTA, the families of the deceased and the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ over the death of 7 staff of the NTA Gombe who lost their lives in a ghastly car accident recently.

His condolences message is contained in a Press Release he personally signed, a copy of which was obtained by Echo Express in Jalingo.
“It is with profound sadness that I on behalf of myself and my family condole the Management of the Nigerian Television Authority NTA, and the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ over the unfortunate demise of seven staff of NTA Gombe in a ghastly motor accident on Monday along Billiri- Gombe road.
“The painful incident has not only thrown the immediate family of the deceased, the NTA family and the NUJ into mourning but of course the entire nation.
“As we pray for the repose of the souls of the departed, we pray to Almighty God to give the families of the deceased and all of us their colleagues the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

“I also pray for the speedy recovery of the three other victims of the accident receiving medical attention at the FMC Gombe.
Mallam Suleiman Ibrahim, a former Zonal Secretary of the NUJ, called on the Federal Government to seriously work on the deplorable conditions of roads in the country, especially the North East.
