Gate Way Games: Taraba Athletes Well Cared For – SSAs

Taraba State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare of athletes representing the state at the ongoing National Sports Festival in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
In a joint statement, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Sports Development, Bomwilliya Emmanuel, and the Senior Special Assistant on Sports Services, Christian Andrew Kotonti, confirmed that all issues related to the athletes’ allowances have been fully addressed.
The SSAs commended Governor Agbu Kefas, for the timely release of funds to support the athletes, stating that the gesture reflects the governor’s unwavering dedication to sports development and youth empowerment in Taraba State.
“The governor has done his part by ensuring that financial support was made available. It is now up to the athletes to do their part by giving their best and making the state proud,”.
They further appealed to the athletes to uphold discipline, sportsmanship, and excellence in all their engagements at the festival.
The SSAs also called on all citizens of Taraba State to continue praying for and supporting the governor’s vision for sports transformation across the state.
