Galadima Muri Says he is Proud of the Panso Community in Jalingo

The Galadima Muri, Alhaji Abba Tukur Abba says he is proud of the Panso community in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital, commending their unity and contributions to the state.

He made his feelings known during a traditional coronation (tubna) ceremony held in Jalingo to honor some distinguished daughters of the Panso community.
Speaking at the event, the Galadima emphasized the importance of inclusivity, stating that events like this are designed to carry everyone along regardless of tribe, ethnic group, or local government area.
He noted that the Panso people have a significant population in the state capital, which necessitated their full inclusion in social and developmental activities.
The Galadima also called on the Wakili of Panso to consider including women in leadership and cabinet positions to further foster unity and peaceful coexistence within the community.
He reminded those conferred with traditional titles that responsibilities now rest on their shoulders and urged them to live up to expectations.
In his welcome address, the Jauro Panso, Alhaji Ahmed Hassan, thanked the Galadima Muri for recognizing and appointing one of their own.
He said that the selection was a source of great joy to the Panso people, describing them as peace-loving and committed to supporting the administration of Governor Agbu Kefas.
The Jauro offered prayers for continued peace and progress in Taraba State.
Presenting the honorees to the Galadima, the Wakilin Panso Jalingo, Lamteh Emmanuel, expressed confidence in their ability to serve as worthy ambassadors of the Panso nation.
Among those conferred with traditional titles was Kushi Raymond, Confidential Secretary to the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Agbu Kefas, who was honored with the title of Magajiyar Yelwa.
