A frontline stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Chief Mrs. Bema Zakari Madayi, has credited her simultaneous growth and success in Nigerian politics to former Governor Murtala H. Nyako and the current National Security Adviser (NSA) to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.

Chief Mrs. Bema, who is the Federal Commissioner representing Adamawa State at the Federal Character Commission (FCC) in Abuja, stated that she would never take the mentorship and support from both leaders for granted.

The Commissioner, who holds the traditional title of ‘Tikiltu Bachama’ (the shining star of Bachama Kingdom), made this known while commenting on the recent appointment of a Fulani Ambassador in Numan, Mallam Musa Yakubu, by the Paramount Ruler of the Bachama Kingdom, HRM, Homun Dr. Daniel Shagah Ismail, CON.

She revealed that her family holds immense respect for the Fulani nation, noting that her husband, Zakari Madayi, also recently benefitted from the Tinubu administration with an appointment as an Ambassador of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Chief Olvadi further pledged her allegiance as the first ‘Dudu Funnange’, a title equally bestowed upon her by the Emir of Fufore Emirate, HRH, Alhaji Sani Ribadu.

Explaining the deep-rooted ties between the Bwatiye (Bachama) people and the Fulani, she highlighted their historical co-existence as farmers and pastoralists along river banks.

The former appointee of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) called for continued cooperation and mutual co-existence between the two kingdoms.

“Lamido Funnange, Alhaji Sani Ribadu, recently paid a Christmas and New Year homage to my king, HRH the Hama Bachama, signifying love and shared concern between the two monarchs,” she added.

Chief Olvadi Madayi specifically called on citizens of Adamawa and beyond to support the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing positive changes in the nation since his ascension to leadership.
