FedPoly Bali To Get 1.5 Megawatts Renewable Solar Electricity Soon

Work will soon commence on the 1.5 Megawatts Renewable Solar Electricity Project for the Federal Polytechnic Bali in Taraba State and the immediate community.


M2 International Limited, the Company billed to execute the project on Friday visited the institution for the site handing over.

The project is being handled under the National Public Sector Solarization scheme.


The representatives of the company were received on arrival by the Rector, Dr Mohammed Usman and other members of the Management team.

The National Public Sector Solarization Initiative, NPPSSI, is a flagship programme of the Federal Government of Nigeria implemented by the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Power.

The initiative seeks to solarize strategic public institutions across the Country with the goal of ensuring clean, reliable and sustainable electricity supply to support service delivery and operational efficiency.

The NPPSSI represents a coordinated efforts to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, Lowe current energy expenditure and enhance the resilience of essential government services. The initiative also contributes directly to Nigeria’s Energy Transition Plan and Renewable Hope Infrastructure Agenda.


In line with this mandate the Agency is pleased to introduce the following project Consultants and Contractors, Engineering Procurement Construction who will be working directly the institution throughout the execution of the project.

After an interactive session with the company representatives, mm the Rector Dr.Mohammed Usman through Director Physical Planning Engr Umar Yakubu Abba successfully handed over to the company the site.

 


The handing over was witnessed by the Registrar, Tukur Lamido, Director Physical Planning Engr Umar Yakubu Abba, the project Desk Officer, Engr. Malanta Abdulhamid
