FedPoly Bali Restates Zero Tolerance For Exam Malpractice

The authority of the Federal Polytechnic Bali in Taraba State has restated its position on zero tolerance for examination malpractices.

This position was stressed at a sensitization programme organized by the institution for the academic staff ahead of the second and fourth semester examinations.

Declaring the sensitization programme open, the Rector, Dr. Mohammed Usman, emphasized the importance of maintaining academic integrity, noting that examinations remain a measure of students’ knowledge.

“This was organized to ensure every member of the academic staff is fully aware of the roles, responsibilities and expectations involving the examination process.

“We are here to harmonise our approach, clarify and strengthen our commitment to ensure excellence”.

The Director of Consultancy Services, Mallam Abdullahi Dodo, presented a paper on examination conduct, highlighting strategies to prevent malpractice and reminding staff of their responsibilities during examinations.

The paper was reviewed by Dr. Clarkson Muhammed, who pointed out key additions to the new Academic Policy and offered further insights to strengthen examination processes.

Discussions also centered on the Students’ Handbook, and. Academic policy which clearly spells out guidelines for both staff and students.

The sensitization reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to credible academic practices and protecting its reputation.
