FedPoly Bali Elects New Deans, Heads of Departments

New Deans and Heads of Departments have emerged at the Federal Polytechnic, Bali in Taraba State following an election conducted on Wednesday.

The election was held at the Executive Lecture Theatre 2 of the Polytechnic in Bali, headquarters of Bali Local Government Area of Taraba State.
Those elected are Dr. Tajuddeen Lamidi as Dean, school of science and technology, Dr. Mohammed Abubakar Clarkson as Head of Department, Agriculture and Bio-Evironmental Engineering Technology, Mr. Augustine Ndudi Egere as Head of the Department of Computer Science and Mallam Aliyu Yakubu Abba as Head of Department Business Administration while the position of Head of Department of Biology and Microbiology and Environmental Biology remained vacant pending when any suitable candidate would apply from now to next year.
All candidates were returned unopposed.
The election was conducted through balloting and the Deans and Heads of Departments are expected to serve for three (3) years in office.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Dr Yahaya Tukur, expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the election.
In a vote of thanks, Dr. Mrs Florence Oluchi Nnaji, extended gratitude to all candidates for their courage and vision and commended the Electoral Committee for their diligent efforts in ensuring a fair and transparent election.
She further urged the Deans and Heads of Departments to be mindful of the fact that the entire Polytechnic community looks forward to their leadership and the positive changes they are poised to bring.
