FedPoly Bali: Dame Emerges HOD Banking and Finance

The Department of Banking and Finance of the Federal Polytechnic Bali in Taraba State has elected Mr. Samuel S. Dame as the Head of Department for 3 years tenure.
The election took place on Tuesday at the Executive lecture theatre of the institution.
Mr. Dame emerged victorious getting all the total 6 votes cast at the election.
The Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Dr. Yahaya Tukur who announced the results, stressed that the election was for a three-year tenure, as stipulated in the Polytechnic Act.

In his manifesto, Mr. Dame outlined his vision for the department, stating that he intends to position it as a center of excellence in financial education, research, and industry-driving innovations.
He also highlighted his mission to enhance the quality of teaching and learning, foster impactful research, strengthen industry partnerships, and create an enabling environment for staff and students to thrive.
The electoral committee consisted of Dr. Yahaya Tukur, Dr. Abdullahi Sani, Dr. Florence O. Nnaji, Engr. Suleiman Mohammed, Gowon David, Umar Adamu, and Baba M. Mustapha.
