FedPoly Bali Condoles With Families Of 2 Deceased Staff

The Management of Federal Polytechnic Bali in Taraba State has paid condolence visits to the families of two deceased staff,  Hamman Zira and Safiya Yakubu, both of the Computer Science Department of the institution.

The Management staff visited the homes of deceased staff in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State, and Mubi in Adamawa State.

The Director of Academic Planning, Dr Tukur Yahaya, led the delegation on behalf of the Rector of the institution, Dr. Mohammed Usman where he handed over written condolence messages from the Rector to the bereaved families.

The visit was aimed at expressing the Polytechnic’s deep sympathy and support to the families during this difficult time.

Similarly, the Head of the Computer Science Department of the institution, Mr. Augustine Egere, alongside his staff members, also extended their condolences to the bereaved families.

The Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic, ASUP, Comrade Umar Ali, was represented by the Director of Welfare, Mrs Mariyam Saidu Jen and the Auditor, Comrade Dahiru Yunusa, who conveyed the union’s heartfelt sympathies on his behalf.

In response, late Hamman’s father, Mr. Hyalaba Zira, and late Mrs. Safiya’s husband, Alhaji Jafaru Maraya, who warmly received the delegation, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Polytechnic for identifying with them at their moments of grief.

They deeply appreciated the institution’s support and extended their best wishes to the team, praying for their safe journey to their destinations.

Highlight of the visit include a solemn prayer session for the departed souls.
