FedPoly Bali Begins 2025 Staff Promotion Exercise

The Federal Polytechnic in Bali, Taraba State has commenced the 2025 promotion exercise for staff of the institution.
The exercise which began on Wednesday, 2nd April 2025, is being held at the Rector’s Conference Hall.
The Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr Mohammed Usman is the Chairman of the promotion committee.
He reiterated the institution’s commitment to ensuring continuity through strict adherence to Staff welfare for greater productivity.
Dr. Usman however, emphasized that staff who received query letters for unsatisfactory services or misconduct during the period under consideration, would have their promotions suspended pending the determination of their cases.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Federal Polytechnic Bali, Comr. Umar Mohammed Ali, expressed the union’s readiness to support the institution in ensuring success and fairness in the promotion exercise in the interest of staff career progression.
Also speaking, the Acting Registrar of the institution, Alhaji Umar Ibrahim Baba, stressed the need for continued use of the Polytechnic Scheme of Service and ensuring that all necessary requirements for promotion are met before taken to the Governing Council for ratification.
The promotion exercise, which will last for seven days, is expected to be transparent, fair, and in line with the institution’s guidelines and regulations for promotion.
