FedPoly Bali Announces Deaths Of 3 Staff

The Authority of the Federal Polytechnic Bali in Taraba State has officially announced the deaths of three staff of the institution who passed away recently.


The official statement announcing the demise of the three officers is contained in an obituary announcement signed by Hamza A. Saleh, D/R on behalf of the Registrar of the Polytechnic.

“The Management of the Federal Polytechnic Bali regrets to announce the passing away of Mr Bashir Mohammed, a staff with the Bursary Department.

“Late Bashir died on 8th of March, 2025;at Zaria, Kaduna State after a protracted illness”.

Late Bashir who died at the age of 53, joined the services of the Polytechnic in 2019 as an Accountant 1 and rose to the rank of a Senior Accountant before his death.

In the same vein, the Polytechnic also announced the death of Hamman Zira, a Technician in the Department of Computer Science.

Late Hamman Zira died on the 20th of January 2025 at Mubi, Adamawa State after a brief illness.

The deceased who died at the age of 42, joined the services of the Polytechnic in 2019 as Assistant Technician and rose to the rank of a Technician before his death.

The Institution equally announced the death of Mrs Safiya Yakubu, a Lecturer with the Computer Science Department.

Late Safiya Yakubu died on the 26th of February 2025 in Jalingo, Taraba State after a brief illness.

She died at the age of 39.

The deceased joined the services of the Polytechnic in 2019 as Assistant Lecturer and rose to the rank of Lecturer III before her death.

“The Rector, staff and students of the Polytechnic commiserate with the deceased families.
“May their gentle souls rest in perfect peace”.
