Federal Polytechnic Bali Loses Lecturer

The death has occurred of a Lecture with the Federal Polytechnic Bali in Taraba State, Mallam Abubakar Isa Zumo.

The deceased died on Wednesday, 27th August 2025 at the General Hospital, Bali.
Reports say Mallam Abubakar Isa Zumo who was expected to administer a test for his students that day, suddenly slumped at his residence at the Daniya area of Bali while preparing to go to work.
He was immediately rushed to the Bali General Hospital where he was confirmed dead by the officials of the health facility.
Fourt years old Mallam Abubakar Isa Zumo, was a Lecturer III in the Department of Public Administration before his passage in the early hours of Wednesday, 27th August, 2025, at the Bali General Hospital.
Mallam Abubakar Zumo was
Born on 1st October, 1985, in Song Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
He joined the services of the Polytechnic in 2019.
The funeral prayer was held at Daniya Juma’at Mosque, attended by staff, students, and members of the community.
His remains was laid to rest on Wednesday at Daniya Graveyard in accordance with Islamic rites.
He is survived by his wife, parents and relations.
Some staff and close colleagues have paid glowing tributes to the deceased.
Mr. Sinjen Peter of Public Administration described him as an upright and God-fearing friend.
Mallam Yahaya Dahiru of the Accountancy Department, said he would be remembered as a friendly and principled individual.
Mr. Asif Bakari of Biological Sciences referred to him as a man of peace, while Mr. Umar Isa Turaki of the Career Service Centre, described him as a man of integrity, loyalty, God-fearing, and a devoted Muslim.
He was popularly called a researcher because of his commitment and dedication.
Other mourners, described his death as not only a loss to the Polytechnic but humanity in general whose death came when his services were needed most.
In the meantime, the Rector, Management, Staff, and Students of the Polytechnic have continued to express their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
While praying for the repose of his soul, they equally asked God to grant his loved ones the strength to bear the irreparable loss and should be accommodated in paradise.
