Federal Lawmaker supports APC members with food items worth N350m

The Member representing Alkaleri-Kirfi Federal Constituency in Bauchi state, Hon. Kabiru Yusuf AKY ,has distributed food items worth N350m as Ramadan package to his constituents.
Speaking during the distribution exercise in Bauchi on Monday, Hon. Kabiru Yusuf said, the gesture will help reduce the hardship faced by people especially in this month of Ramadan.
Hon. Makama explained that beneficiaries of the food items include APC party executives from the two local government areas to ward level, members of AKY Makama structure, stakeholders from Alkaleri-Kirfi constituency, opposition parties, women and Youth groups as well as some selected individuals from the two Local government areas.
According to him, in addition to this food gesture, N2m was earlier given to party executives and stakeholders of his constituency as Ramadan gift, saying
after Sallah holidays, there would be a massive empowerment program to people of his constituency, where beneficiaries will receive Cash, vehicles, motorcycles, tricycles and other economic tools.
On his part, chairman APC stakeholders Alkaleri LGA, Alhaji Adamu Umar Gokaru, highlighted some achievements of the federal lawmaker that include distribution of fertilizer and other agricultural inputs, vehicles, motorcycles, tricycles, construction of PHC facilities, class rooms, international cattle market, securing of federal jobs to about 80 constituents, drilling of boreholes and installation of solar lights among others.
Also speaking APC Chairman Bauchi state, Alhaji Hassan Muhammad Tilde,represented by state secretary, Alhaji Mustapha Shehu Zirami, thanked AKY Makama for promoting party activities in his constituency, adding that APC had set up a committee comprising former state chairmen that will engage various stakeholders in an effort to bring members together.
Other speakers at the event, comrade Sabo Muhammad, Dr. Musa Muazu Badara and Abdulkadir Lawal Gyangyan, encouraged the lawmaker to continue with his economic empowerment programs and other developmental projects in his constituency.
Food items distributed during the exercise include 2,500 bags of Rice, 2000 cartoons of spaghetti, 500 cartoons of groundnut oil, 1000 bags of sugar and 500 cartoons of Noodles.
