Fed Poly Bali Holds Training Workshop for HODs, Registry Staff

The Federal Polytechnic Bali in Taraba State has organized a two-day training workshop aimed at enhancing registry services and administrative efficiency.
The event which place from from May 14th to 15th, 2025, was held at the institution’s Executive Lecture Theatre II, drawing participation from registry staff, Heads of Departments, and unit heads.
Declaring the workshop open, the Rector of the institution, Dr. Mohammed Usman, urged participants to actively engage and apply the knowledge gained to improve service delivery.
He thanked the resource persons for sharing their expertise with the institution.
Key facilitators included Alhaji Buba Bello, former Registrar of Federal Polytechnic Mubi; Alhaji Mohammed Hassan Gora, pioneer Registrar of Federal Polytechnic Bali; and Dr. Zanna Mustapha Kashim, former Registrar of both Federal Polytechnic Bali and Borno State University.
Topics covered ranged from attitudinal change, effective communication, staff management, and record documentation, to ethical leadership and service delivery.
Discussions also addressed practical issues like absenteeism and disciplinary measures.
The Registrar of the Federal Polytechnic Bali, Alhaji Muhammad Tukur Lamido, in his closing remarks, emphasized the importance of applying workshop insights to drive institutional growth.
The event fostered knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and a renewed commitment to excellence in administrative service.
