Eid-ul-Maulud: Adamawa NUJ Congratulates Gov Fintiri, Members

The Adamawa State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ has extended its warmest felicitations to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Government and the entire Muslim ummah in Adamawa state and beyond on the occasion of the 2024 EID-ul-Maulud celebration.
The goodwill message of the Adamawa State NUJ is contained in a Press Release jointly signed by the State Chairman and Secretary, Ishak Donald Dedan and Fidelis Jockthan in that order
The union in particular, join members of the pen profession in commemoration of the special day, which is the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
“On this auspicious day, all people from the two divides should reflect on the Prophet’s life and strive to embody his virtues of Compassion, Spreading love and understanding as well as seeking his intercession in prayers.
In the same spirit of unity and forgiveness, the NUJ urged the Muslim faithfuls to sustained prayers for more flourishing dividends of democracy as being experienced in Adamawa state under Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s leadership.
“All and sundry should be committed also in prayers as exemplified by the Holy Prophet in the economic turn-around and stability of our great nation”.
The release charged the media to put Public interest first in their reportage, stressing the need for harmonious coexistence, welfare for public servants both in Government and private sector.
“Once again, Happy EID-ul-Maulud and may the peace and blessings of the celebration be upon all the good people of the state”.
