Eid Maulud: Madakin Muri tasks Muslims on peace, love

The Madaki of Muri Emirate Dr. Inuwa Bakari Jalingo has urged the Muslim Ummah to embrace and love in line with the teaches and lifestyle of the Holy Prophet Muhammed.

Dr. Inuwa in his goodwill message to mark the Eid Maulud celebration, emphasized peace and love among Muslim brethren, stating that Islam preaches peace and that Prophet Muhammed throughout his stay, preached peace and lived harmoniously with people across different lines.
“Today, we celebrate Eid Maulud which commemorates the birthday of our Holy Prophet Muhammed and to celebrate this day truly, I enjoin all Muslims to be peaceful and prayerful.
“We need prayers and love for one another irrespective of religion, tribe or political affiliation because we all are one and God knows why He created us to different tribes and kept us together, “he stated.
He however, appreciated the Emir of Muri, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abbas Tafida for his peace efforts.
He also commended Governor Agbu Kefas for ensuring peace and security in the State while calling on Leaders to ensure more peace and safety of citizens.
He further called on all citizens to massively participate in the ongoing voters registration process as it is the only yardstick to guarantee their freedom and emancipation.
