Eid-El-Kabir: Unity and Cooperation key to Building a stronger Nigeria – AIG Abdurrahman

As Muslims celebrate Eid-El-Kabir, Retired Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Ahmad Abdurrahman, Chief Security Adviser to the Bauchi State Governor, extends warm felicitations to Bauchi State citizens and Nigerians.

The retired AIG’s message is contained in a Press statement signed and made available to newsmen by Abdullahi Alhassan, the Chief Press Secretary.

“This joyous occasion is a time for reflection, gratitude, and celebration with loved ones, and prayers for national development. We commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son, reminding us of obedience, faith, and sacrifice”.

He called on Bauchi State citizens and Nigerians as a whole to support government efforts in maintaining peace and security, saying we must work together to ensure a safe and prosperous state and urged citizens to provide information that could lead to the arrest of criminals.

The Chief Security Adviser also have some words for the pilgrims performing Hajj.

“I wish you a safe and accepted pilgrimage. I call on you to pray for peace, unity, and stability in Bauchi State and Nigeria. Your prayers are crucial. Only with peace can development thrive in our country”.

He emphasized that “Development and peace are intertwined. Without peace, progress is impossible. I assure Bauchi State people that the government is committed to ensuring their safety and security. We will address security challenges and create an environment conducive to growth”.

The Chief Security Adviser called on citizens to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity.

“Unity and cooperation are essential in building a stronger, more prosperous, and peaceful Bauchi State. I thank Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad for his leadership and vision”.

Retired AIG Abdurrahman commends security agencies for their dedication to maintaining peace and order, stressing that together, we can build a safer, more prosperous Bauchi State.

“I wish all Muslims a happy and blessed Eid-El-Kabir.

“May Allah accept our sacrifices and prayers. Let’s strive for peace and development in Nigeria. I urge citizens to continue supporting government efforts in maintaining peace and security”, the. statement added.
