Eid-el-kabir: Nigeria’s Defense Minister Congratulates Muslims

The Minister of Defence, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has observed Eid Kabir congregational Prayer at Babura Gabas Eid ground in Babura town, Jigawa State.
This is contained in a Press Release signed by the Personal Assistant, Media and Publicity to the Defense Minister, Mallam Mati Ali, made available to newsmen including Echo Express.
The Eid Prayer which began by Nine o’clock in the morning was led by the Chief Imam of Babura Malam Salisu Aliyu.
In his sermon, the chief Imam stressed the importance of helping the less privileged in the society and the need to pray and deliberately work towards lasting peace in the country.
On his part, the Defense Minister, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar Congratulated the Muslim Ummah in the country for the peaceful conduct of the Eid prayers.
Those who prayed along side the Minister include Local Government Chairmen, Members of the State House Assembly, close associates and many worshipers.
