Eid-el Kabir: Chief of Ibi tasks subjects on Love, Peace & sacrifice

The Paramount Ruler of Ibi Chiefdom of Taraba State Northeast Nigeria, Alh. Abubakar Salihu Danbawuro III has tasked his Subjects and the people of the State on the need to follow the paths of love, peace and sacrifice as they celebrate the year’s Eid-el Kabir festivity.
The Monarch, who made the admonition this Monday while delivering a sallah message to his subjects and the people of the State said following the paths of love, peace and sacrifice will help make Taraba State and Nigeria great.
Alh. Danbawuro, our Correspondent gathered spoke through a telephone conversation from Mecca in Saudi Arabia as he was part of the muslim pilgrims that traveled for 2024 Hajj operation to the holy land.
He emphasized that the people must not forget to respect the rules of law and constituted authorities and most importantly, according to him embrace peaceful coexistence.
The Chief of Ibi further reiterated the need for the people of Taraba State to continue to pray for Governor Agbu Kefas, saying his leadership styles are impacting positively on the lives of the people.
“Pray for the government of Governor Agbu Kefas because what he is doing is touching the lives of our people”, he added.
“Make it a point of duty to go to farms to help yourselves because the economy is biting hard and l also want to acknowledge the fact that God has heard our prayers”,
“God has answered our prayers because the state is now calm, banditry has drastically reduced to the barest minimum across the State”, he said.
While applauding the media, security agencies, religious leaders, traditional rulers and various Stakeholders across the 16 LGAs of the State for doing wonderfully well in the fight against Insecurity, Alh. Salihu Danbawuro said all efforts are highly commendable.
He however, called on the Muslim Umar to emulate the teachings of Allah and stressed the need for them to show love by sharing to one another.
