The Chairman, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Taraba State chapter, Hon. (Dr.) Aminu Jauro Hassan has felicitated with the State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, Muslims in Taraba State and Jalingo local government area for the successful celebration of the 2025 Sallah celebration in the State.

Hassan in a whatsApp chat this Monday with our Correspondent, said he is most grateful to the Almighty Allah for the lives of the Muslim ummah who successfully passed through the one month Ramadan fasting, also grateful to the State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas for creating what he described as, a conducive and peaceful atmosphere that led to the successful celebration of the 2025 Eid-el fitr festival in the State.
ALGON Chairman who also holds the position of national Welfare officer of ALGON and chairman Jalingo local government area, further enjoined Muslims across the 16 LGAs of the State to always embrace peace, live in peace with one another and stay away from trouble.
Most importantly according to him, they should obey constituted authorities and laws of the land.
He said, on behalf of all local government council chairmen in the State, he wished all Muslim ummah a happy 2025 Eid-el Fitr (Sallah celebration), adding that Muslims from Jalingo local government area are not left out in his well wishes, describing them as his immediate constituency.
According to the ALGON chairman, Eid-el Fitr festival commemorates the end of Ramadan fasting which also symbolizes gratitude to Allah for the strength given to the ummah from dawn to dusk and/or sun set.
He also used the opportunity to extend his hands of fellowship to the members of the State executive council, the legislature, the judiciary, the media, all traditional institutions, religious bodies, political office holders, the security agencies, the leadership and members of PDP, women and youth groups, social society organizations and others too numerous to mention.
Urging all to be committed with their various assignments, the ALGON boss emphasized that all hands must be on deck and must align with the moving forward agenda of the present administration under the leadership of Governor Agbu Kefas.

“Always support the programmes and policies of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas for him to succeed”, said Jauro.
