EBPL: Will Liverpool FC Lift the Trophy?

Liverpool FC are just a distant away from being crowned the Champion of the English Barclay Premier League following a hard fought 1-0 win against their arch rival Everton in a Merseyside Derby played at Anfield stadium.
Liverpool FC going into this match need nothing less a win to restore confidence especially in the minds of their followers as a result of their inability to fulfil their ambiguous ambition of winning both the English Barclay Premier League, the Carabao cup,the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League.
The first half of the match saw both teams struggling to counter one another as Everton throws in everything to contend Liverpool and their Vociferous fans but on resumption of the second half, Liverpool FC upped their game to finally snatch the Three points from their Neighbors through a lone goal by Diogo Jota to restore their 12 points lead after Arsenal’s 2-1 win against Fulham has cut the lead to 9 points.
Arsenal’s hope of finishing second was given a boast with a goal from Mikel Moreno and returning Bukayo Saka while Nothingham Forest quest of playing in a Champion league next football season continues to gather momentum as they sit pretty in the third position after beating Manchester United 1-0 to compound the woes of Ruben Amorim and his boys, a result which is the 13th loss for Manchester United already this season and leaves them also in the 13th position in the league table.
The battle for the remaining slots for a Champion league place remains a battle that will be keenly contested by Manchester City, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Newcastle but so far Manchester City, Newcastle and Aston Villa have all won their respective matches thereby putting pressure on Chelsea to win against Tottenham Hotspur and the Enzo Marasca boys did not disappoint as they beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 to boast their Champion league place.
Ipswich Town fighting for survival and in the last position in the league table prove bookmekers wrong as they inflicted a painful defeat 2-1 against AFC Bournemouth at their backyard, the Vitality stadium.
Southampton’s hope of swimming out of the relegation water was dealt a blow as Crystal Palace equalize at the dying minute to snatch a point thereby denying the ST Mary stadium landlord all the three points.
