Donga Council Chairman Receives Revenue Report

The Committee set up by Donga Local Government in Taraba State to audit the revenue receipts and remittances into the coffers of the Council has submitted its quarterly report.
The Committee which was chaired by the Auditor of the Council, Mr Yakubu Musa Sambo presented the report to the Chairman of the Council, Hon Ezra Voka in Donga.
While presenting the report, Mr Yakubu Sambo highlighted the total number of receipts issued from February to May, total cash inflow, bank remittances, surplus and deficit payments among others.
Receiving the report, the Chairman of Donga Local Government Area, Hon Ezra Voka, commended the Committee for its efforts, describing it as a “job well done”.
“Upon our coming to power, what I met in the revenue account was quite an unfortunate amount not more than five thousand plus, but to the glory of God we are able to realize some reasonable amounts being remitted to the account of which the legislative council hall is undergoing renovations with complete furniture fully funded from the revenue generated since we resumes office.
” However, the lapses, observations, and recommendations are to be worked upon with immediate effect, and who ever is found guilty of fund mismanagement will not go scout free”.
