Death of Taraba gov’s sister, Atsi worries Jalingo LG boss

The Jalingo Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. (Dr.) Aminu Jauro Hassan has expressed worry over the sudden death of Atsi Kefas, younger sister of the Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas.

Dr. Hassan who is also the State Chairman, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) expressed his feeling this Wednesday during a telephone conversation with our Correspondent in Jalingo.
According to him, his entire family members, the good people of Jalingo local government area and chairmen of the sixteen local governments of the State are deeply worried and grieved over the unfortunate and heartbreaking situation that befell the family of the number one citizen of the State.
“To be frank with you, an injury to one is an injury to all, especially when it concerns the number one family of the State”,
“As a local government, and as a State, we are all crippled, with unexpected bereavement and a sad one for that matter. We believe with confidence and hope that God will console all of us”,
“I am calling on our amiable Governor, His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas, his entire family, the people of Taraba state as a whole, to grin and bear this irreparable loss”,
“May the bereaved family take solace in God while the soul of the deceased rest in the bossom of her creator, Ameen”, prayed Hassan.
Our Correspondent gathered that Atsi Kefas, who was reportedly shot during a gun battle between security operatives and armed gun men along Kente – Wukari road of Wukari local government area of the State died at a Private Hospital in Abuja where she was receiving treatment.
“She was initially admitted at Federal University Teaching Hospital Wukari before she was transferred to Abuja the Federal Capital Territory (FCT.)”.
The number one family of Jalingo LGC, Hon. Hassan, once more wished the 44-years-old Atsi eternal rest.
