Creation of Emirates, Chiefdoms and District Heads: To bringing government closer to the people — says Bauchi SSG

Governor Bala Mohammed has been engaged in two days of meeting with the newly appointed 13 Emirs and the First Gung Zaar of Zaar Chiefdom in Bauchi State.
Bauchi SSG briefing journalists on the outcome of two days meeting between Governor Bala Mohammed and newly appointed Emirs and a chiefdom.
The outcome of the Meeting which was done behind closed doors, was made public by the Secretary to the State government, Alhaji Aminu Hamayo.
Aminu Hammayo informed journalists at Ramat House venue of the meeting that Government appreciates the support of the people especially in the creation of additional Emirates, Chiefdom and Districts across the state.
Saying “Government also appreciate the new Emirs and the Communities affected for embracing the new Emirates and the Chiefdom”, reiterating that the main objectives of creating additional Emirates, Chiefdom and the Districts is to bring governance closer to the People.
He appealed to people of Bauchi State to continue to support government policies and programmes for sustainable growth dnd development in the interest of the state.
