Complain When Drivers Break Traffic Rules, FRSC Tells Passengers

The Sector Commandant of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Bauchi State has urged passengers to speak up whenever a driver violates road rules.


RS 12 Commander Istifanus Ibrahim made the appeal during his familiarization visit to the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Bauchi State Council.

Ibrahim stated that the command is composed of 700 personnel, including both regular and special marshals, along with 14 vehicles and 5 ambulances, aimed at ensuring a safe and accident-free ember month in the state.

He also requested the support of journalists in raising public awareness about the dangers of speeding and traveling at night.

In response, , the Chairman of the Bauchi State Council, Comrade Umar Sa’id praised the sector commander and his team for their visit.

He encouraged the road safety corps to extend its corporate social responsibility throughout the state by regulating traffic and educating the public about the risks associated with one-way driving.


Sa’id sought the command’s assistance in curbing the misuse of press tags by commercial drivers.
