Commander 6 Brigade Decorates 3 Senior Officers, Calls For Renewed Commitment To Duty

The Commander, 6 Brigade Nigerian Army/ Sector 3, Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS), Brigadier General Kingsley Chidiebere Uwa has decorated 3 newly promoted Senior Officers with their new ranks.
He called on the newly promoted senior officers of the brigade to redouble their efforts in discharging their duties on their new ranks.
The Brigadier Commander gave the charge on Monday during a promotion investiture ceremony held at the Headquarters, 6 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Jalingo, the Taraba State Capital.
In a Press Release signed by Captain Olubodunde Oni, Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations, said the ceremony witnessed the decoration of three senior officers with their new ranks.
The Commanding Officer of 20 Model Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel AO Ogidan, who was elevated to the rank of Colonel, while Major MJ Mohammad and Major D Otobo were promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
In his remarks, the Commander congratulated the officers on their well deserved promotions and emphasized the importance of renewed commitment, professionalism, and dedication as they take on greater responsibilities in their new roles.
While delivering his vote of thanks on behalf of other newly promoted senior officers, Colonel AO Ogidan, expressed profound gratitude to God for making the day possible.
He appreciated the leadership of the Nigerian Army for recognizing their dedication and finding them worthy of elevation.
Colonel Ogidan also extended his heartfelt thanks to the Commander 6 Brigade for his visionary leadership, mentorship, and for fostering an enabling environment for growth and excellence.
